Centering Black women faculty: Magnifying powerful voices

While much of the quantitative research on Black women faculty has taken a comparative approach to understanding their experiences, this study provides counternarrative, centering experiences as faculty. This large-scale, multi-institution glance at helps give us an overview these across country, looking who they are, where how spend time, and what value in undergraduate education. allows strengthen various arguments made qualitative studies amplify perspectives experiences. Furthermore, it reaffirms reinvigorates need for educational developers practice intentional assessment faculty’s teaching, support current teaching efforts campus, advocate policy change work
